We are a team of passionate industry experts who are leading, shaping, and driving a potentially transformative medical breakthrough for the treatment of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) in the developed world.Additionally, in partnership with The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we have an ambitious program in development to bring low-cost surfactant to the millions of premature babies with RDS born each year.Join us as we embark on this breakthrough and become inspired to deliver.What is the role?The Senior Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Management will be responsible for the development, oversight, management and integration of the global commercial supply chain for Aerogen Pharma. This role will provide leadership and vision in leveraging processes, technology and vision to solve business problems, build capability and drive supply chain stability.What are the key responsibilities?

• Develop end to end global supply chain strategy and supply network for drug substance through to finished drug product.
• Work directly with external manufacturers and packaging organizations and internal procurement to negotiate supply agreements.
• Lead end to end value chain planning - inventory management across raw materials, drug substance, drug products and finished goods.
• Develop and optimize processes by working directly with commercial, finance, tech ops, quality and finance to ensure short and long term manufacturing supply needs are met.
• Oversee management of suppliers including CMO, logistics and warehousing partners.
• Coordinate internal resources with external suppliers to achieve business goals.What education and experience are required?
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in science or business.
• Significant experience and leadership in biologics drug substance, drug product, device and finished packaging supply chain for drug device combination biologic clinical and commercial products.What key skills will make you great at the role?
• Understanding of global drug and device licensing requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, packaging and labeling.
• Expertise in strategic global supply chain management and supplier relationship management.
• Results oriented. Strong initiative, accountability and willingness to take ownership and drive projects to completion.
