We are currently sourcing for a Software Engineer in Test to work at Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC!The RoleFidelity Investments is looking for a Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about cutting edge technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be responsible for hands on test and development of automated test scripts and DevSecOps artifacts across multiple technology stacks (principally Java). You will be responsible for performing all Software Development Lifecycle for designing, developing, testing and deployment. Overall, you will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies. Software Engineers at Fidelity Investments pride themselves on their experience, leadership, and ability to build relationships across teams.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelors degree in Computer Science (or closely related)8+ years of experience in software development and testExperience testing RESTful web services using technologies such as RestAssured.Experience using SQL for test purposesObject Oriented programming proficiency (Java)Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy, etc)Certifications in AWS or similar cloud platforms are a plusCreative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are a plusExcellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile teamExperience writing Restful web services in Java is an added benefit!The TeamThe Planning and Advice Platform product area within the Personal Investing business unit of Fidelity is looking to add to our core team of engineers.
