To learn more about our company and services, please visit us at PromptCare In-home Respiratory and InfusionReporting to: Departmental Branch Manager or Regional Director of RTsJob Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with on-call responsibilities.Job Location: Reporting to Durham, NC and providing RT homecare services within a two hour from office location.Requirements:Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory SchoolMust have current RCP state licensure in the state inquiring employment and in good standingMust be willing to get cross-licensed in other states at the companys expenseMust have a valid drivers license and automobile insurance in good standingAt least 1 year experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is requiredExperience in the home care setting is highly desirableRRT certification requiredCurrent CPR- BLS certification requiredMust have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely mannerJob Responsibilities, included but not limited to:Provides timely and accurate information to patients and family members, ensuring complete satisfaction.Develops good working relationships with patients, family members, and referral sources.Plans daily events efficiently to minimize travel time.Schedules set-ups and follow-up visits according to company policies.Coordinates patient discharges with RT Clinical Liaisons.Triages field problems according to company standards and training policies.Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns and corrective actions.Applies Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently.Maintains compliance with all laws, regulations, and SOPs.Promotes a culture of white glove service to patients and family members.Submits monthly travel expense reports.Handles on-call responsibilities as needed.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
