TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Henderson, North Carolina, 27536 Pay Information $1,894 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Team player mentality - Strong attendance and punctuality - Ability to work every other weekend - Ability to float on rare occasions Job Description: - Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. - Work in a Joint Commission Accredited facility with the largest and most comprehensive ED. - Largest and most advanced ICU and PCU with 205 licensed beds. - Engage with a patient population that includes adults and geriatrics, excluding pediatrics. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6. - Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system. - Follow the dress code of blue/black scrubs; casual wear is not acceptable. - Participate in holiday rotation as required. - Handle common diagnoses and treatments typical to the Medical-Surgical unit. - Preferably hold a BSN, although an ADN is accepted.
