Provide specialized patient care functions as aclinician,
educatorand/or a consultant for a specified patient populat
ion.Work Performed Coordinate with the nursing staf fto identify
patient care problems,to implement approaches to these prob lems
and to evaluate theeffectiveness of the approaches.Perform clinical
evaluations andmake clinical judgments based on a synthesis of
concepts, principles,models and theories to solve complex

Qualifications Education MSN required Experience 3 years of nursing
experience Degrees, Licensures, Certifications Must have current or
compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) is required. -
