DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of the Charge nurse and/or
Registered nurse, performs the primary function of a licensed
practical nurse in providing care to patients in need of wound care
services. - The LPN is responsible for meeting standards of Wound
Care practice set forth by regulatory agencies & nursing practice
in the management of all assigned patients; assists medical staff
with the implementation of wound treatment plans; essential in
collaborating with other healthcare providers in the review of
performance improvement activities and acts within the guidelines
of federal & state laws, Joint Commission standards, and

required to push a stretcher with a patient with one hand. Ability
to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
