Job Description:

Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking an Accounting Manager for our growing client in RTP, NC 27709. The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the financial and accounting functions of the company. This position's responsibilities include the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, financial reporting and record-keeping, accounts reconciliation, cash management, across AR and AP, and management of a small 2 person accounting team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Hands-on and day-to-day manager focused on developing and leading their team to success
Day-to-day oversight and hands-on involvement with all financial and accounting functions
Create and enforce internal accounting and financial policies
Manage the process and third-party Tax advisors regarding the company's annual audit and tax filings
In-depth financial analysis and creation of financial reports, financial statements, and other required financial reports
Execute month-end closings, controls, cost accounting, audits, and financial reporting
Work with other company leaders and executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process
Lead the accounting team with continued professional development, one on one coaching, and effective accountability
Other accounting and financial related tasks, projects, assignments as needed and requested

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
5+ years of experience in accounting roles
5+ years of proven and successful supervisory/management experience
Proficiency in Excel with the ability to manipulate data
Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
Professional accreditation such as CPA is a plus
Experience working with Manufacturing teams and inventory management
Ability to manage corporate accounting functions effectively
Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with leadership among various departments and the accounting team
Exhibit a high-level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
