Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Engineer (Remote in
Arizona).
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow
and Snowflake
Translate HiveQL queries to Snowflake SQL and utilize dbt for data
modeling and transformation
Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
while documenting the migration process
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on data
warehouse/lake implementation
Deep understanding of Snowflake or similar tools for building data
warehouse/lakehouse systems
Strong expertise in HiveQL, SQL, and data warehousing concepts
Proficient programming knowledge in Python
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data storage
services is a plus
