Job Description:
Duties: Designs, develops, and implements network security
solutions for enterprise network applications within UNIX and Windows
environments. Implements new IPS hardware, WAN Optimization technology, and
TAP infrastructure to meet business/risk requirements. Uses Network
Management Tools (Sitescope and HPOV) to analyze network performance. Primary Responsibilities: • Maintains high availability and clustered firewall
environments. • Implements, configures, and troubleshoots VPN and two
factor authentication for remote access. • Configures and maintains network, firewall, and remote
access environment. • Assists business units with planning and implementing
complex network related issues, software, and hardware. • Identifies users and situations that are hazardous to the system/network. • Develops and monitors contingency plans in anticipation of installation/conversion problems. • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Supports applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple
applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
developing Cisco network engineering solutions within a global multi
datacenter environment; Or, alternatively, no degree and five (5) years of
experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience developing
Cisco network engineering solutions within a global multi datacenter
environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”)
performing checkpoint and NetScreen firewall design and high availability
build, using VRR, NSRPP, and HA; and performing HA and failover testing;
DE architecting, executing, and supporting F5 load balancing
technology and DNS/ DCHP environments, using Infoblox IPAM for administration
and enrollment of critical applications and server platforms; and
working with server and application team to plan and execute changes to load
balancing and DNS/DHCP requirements; DE engineering and supporting
Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) in all egress/ingress points; and
working with Risk and Cyber security team to implement updates and upgrades,
and monitor any vulnerability; DE implementing Juniper Remote access
infrastructure and Azure two factor authentication infrastructure; and working with
end user computing to understand changes to desktop environment and
