Job Description:

Duties: Works with technical and business stakeholders to structure key

requirements into sustainable technical solutions. Project manages

technical projects to ensure requirements, designs, and project objectives

are met within expected timelines and budget, according to Agile

methodologies. Ensures processes are established and followed to deliver

high quality code and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall project delivery and management, including

requirements gathering, design, development, quality assurance, production

release, budget, risks, and timelines.

• Assists in evaluating the design of new and existing systems to

judge functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage,

maintainability, and cost of ownership.

• Identifies opportunities to reduce core and maintenance costs.

• Assists with identifying, prioritizing, resolving, and

communicating problems/opportunities within production environments.

• Leads Agile planning activities, including iteration planning,

backlog grooming, retrospectives, and project status reporting.

• Develops detailed project work plans, including account resource

schedules, pre-determined milestones/tasks, and task dependencies.

• Analyzes current processes and recommends changes for continuous

improvement.

• Provides routine and consistent status reports to senior management

and business sponsors.

• Works directly with the user community for project definition and

articulates business information to the group.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of

experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience project

managing IT development, testing, and implementation projects in a

financial services or insurance environment; or, alternatively, Master’s

degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a

closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered

or three (3) years of experience project managing IT development, testing,

and implementation projects in a financial services or insurance

environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”)

performing Non-Discriminatory Testing (NDT) of qualified 401(k) and 403(b)

retirement plans for high net income individuals to ensure benefits

compliance with Internal Revenue Service regulations, including project

coordination, planning, and test execution; DE performing project

management and service management of development, testing, implementation,

and transition/transformation projects, using J2EE, mainframe technologies,

and TriZetto Facets packaged tools across multi-geographical locations,

utilizing ADM Estimator, C-dart, and M-dart project management tools; DE

developing project plans, quality plans, risk management plans, RACI

Metrics, resource histogram, estimation, budgets, resource leveling,

pyramid ratio maintenance, performance assessments, and appraisal

processes, using HP PPM and MS-Project tools; DE performing requirements

gathering, analysis, and project management of enterprise reconciliations

and solutions, using SunGard's IntelliMatch Operational Control suite and

IntelliSuite (I-Suite).
