Job Description:

Duties: Will work to architect, design, implement, and support Directory

Services infrastructure, including Windows 2003/2008/2012 Active Directory,

Identity Management, Microsoft AD/AM LDAP, Distributed File Systems, Group

Policy Objects, and Quest AD Tools (Quest Reporter, Active Roles, Intrust,

and GPOAdmin). Investigate and resolve single user and system wide

application issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze metrics for the Directory Services system to

develop future road map and plan infrastructure migration, redesign, and

integration projects.

• Work across product life cycles and architecture groups to plan

next generation technology structure.

• Provide third level technical support for all Active Directory (AD)

applications and systems.

• Develop and maintain operational support documentation.

• Test, plan, and implement Service Packs and Hotfixes.

• Design and administer authentication and authorization solutions in

multi-forest/multidomain AD and Lightweight Directory Services (LDS)

environments.

• Architect, design, and implement auditing tools and enhance

monitoring for Directory Services.

• Document and validate Disaster Recovery Process.

• Design replication model for AD, DFS-R, Datacenter, and internal

sites.

• Design and administer the Distributed File System (DFS).

• Oversee policy restriction design and Group Policy Objects (GPO),

administer LDS, and perform Group Policy Management.

• Plan and implement migration projects on AD and Directory supported

applications.

• Architect, design, and implement Active Directory Federation

Services (ADFS) with external cloud vendors.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of

experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience planning,

designing, implementing, and administering Active Directory Services within

an enterprise wide financial services environment; or, alternatively,

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics,

Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in

the job offered or three (3) years of experience planning, designing,

implementing, and administering Active Directory Services within an

enterprise wide financial services environment. Candidate must also

possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) in design, administration, and

implementation of Identity Management Platforms within Microsoft Active

Directory (AD), Lightweight Directory Service (LDS), and Forefront Identity

Manager (FIM) environments, including implementation of smart card

multifactor authentication and least privilege models; upgrading functional

levels and SYSVOL migrations in AD, and High Availability/Resiliency design

for AD Sites in a Distributed File System environment; and enterprise level

Disaster Recovery solutions for Forest, Domain, and Identity Platform

recovery; DE in design and administration of Cloud Based Identity model

with Office 365 tenant design, Global Admin role for Exchange vNext, and

Sharepoint Online, including planning and deployment of the Active

Directory Federation Services Infrastructure (ADFS) for Cloud and on-

Premise integrations; DE designing, implementing, and auditing the Identity

Synchronization environment over NRTS, NRTL, CloudSync, and GalSync for

internal and external systems, including developing and configuring designs

through automations; DE implementing policy and configuration designs for

Access Management, Delegation Control, Audit, and Object level tracking and

data mining over ARS, Change Auditor, and Splunk; and planning, assessing,

and mitigating Risk and Audit findings.
